Feeling a little bit reflective

Back at CP once again... another week of work behind me. I can hardly believe that half of the summer is just about behind us here. I had an excellent today hanging out with a new friend- Mick- as well as George, some with Christina, and plenty of visits to fun peeps around the park. I met Mick yesterday, and hes going to be our third roomate as of tomorrow morning. He works in employee housing and works nights at that... so, we'll see eachother in passing between work shifts and sleep. Mick got me to open up a lot today, which... its good. I don't often do that, but I suppose I've really needed to. Unfortunatley, its left me in a reflective mood. Fortunatley, though, I realized today that I'm happier than I've been in a very very long time. And, i'm actually being honest when I say that. I still love my job, my friends are as great as always... its a good time out here... its so hard to believe that in another 6 weeks or so I'll be saying goodbye already...

I also have to say, just as a sidenote, it was good having ex boyfriend time in Clarion last Friday... it felt really good to see you guys after so long... I realized... yeah, I miss you a lot more than I thought... I can't wait to see you again ;) (and call me, dammit) I would never trade being out here for anything... ive learned a lot, and above all- to be myself.

Today confirmed that (insert nickname here) and I aren't quite ready to get along yet. I can't say that I'm surprised. My two words are... grow up. I could rant about my experience on the ride, but who gives a fuck... i had a great time. Mick didn't quite get me into the front car... maybe next time :)
