decisions

Spring 2004 semester, day 1.

I learned in seminar today that I 1. Can't sleep with my students 2. Need to stand in the middle line, labeled K-Q, 3. Donuts really don't have calories. 4. Our field services lady, although well meaning, really should be an actress on SNL instead of at Clarion. 5. Can't sleep wiht my students. 6. If I sleep with my students and get caught and sentenced, don't do it again.

So yeah, Student Teacher Seminar was worthwhile. Its gonna be a hell of a semester. None of this being up late junk for me... I have to get up at like 5:30am every damn morning. Its gonna be a good time.

Its strange everyone else starting classes, talking about professors, catching up on gossip. But this is different. I like it! I'll see how I feel when I step into the classroom tomorrow morning though!

So, I got a job offer for the summer- a better one than I expected- if all goes as planned, I should have a contract soon for an Area 4 Foods supervisor... (means a whole lot if you don't work there, huh?) Well, that, in laymans terms, means good in the Cedar Point foods world. I'll be working with PR again, plus a bunch of other stuff. I vowed never to go back to that place, but somehow, its just working out that I can for another summer and make enough money to cover rent and such for the fall when I get a real job and will be moving to who-knows-where... At least I'll be doing something... I have a few weeks to really decide about going or not... so we'll see...

So teaching tomorrow... yeah... I'm nervous!
