Whoohoo! Finally thursday. I can't wait for this blasted week to end!

Things have gone alright so far, so I won't spend TOO much time complaining I guess. Choir last night was ok. I'm trying not to be too negative or too positive. At 7:00 we only had 4 people show up. Certainly not the turn out I had expected when I was putting folders of music together and hoped that 20 would be enough! Luckily, it wasn't very intimidating being in front of the 6 people who eventually had showed up. However, it was intimidating in the respect that it is VERY difficult working with choir members who are alone in their sections, and with an organist who isn't real experienced to boot. I probably came across as rather inexperienced- not that I'm not, but still! However, we kept good humor about us and I asked everyone to bring some friends for next week so HOPEFULLY we can get it together. I'm a director- not a miracle worker dammit!

Against my best judgment, I decided to go out to Perkins after with the homos (Brendan- roomate, and Ken- his boyfriend) and Ryan and a friend of his- Justin. Justin was fun and I must say, rather cute... I'm not sure what is up between the two of them, but it was nice meeting a new face. We ended up having a great time at Perkins, and i even made it to bed on the early side... (Ok... 1am... but still early for this week!)

Oh well.,.. time for dress rehearsal for choir and then the ALlies christmas party... Later
